After Game 1 of the Best of Seven, we were counting down games until the Stanley Cup was ours.  One down, fifteen wins to go!  Now we're just hoping to earn one more game.  Down 3-2 in the best of seven series against The Boston Bruins, the Sabres are in a must win situation.

After all is said and done for this year, there will be plenty of time to re-hash, debate the successes and failures of the 09-10 season.  But for now, it's all about tonight, 7pm @ TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Mass.

We've got drama: Zdeno Chara avoiding suspension for his late game instigator penalty.  The NHL following its traditional path of 'letting the players play' in the playoffs, decided against a suspension.  Even as a Sabres fan I agree a suspension was not warranted.  Let's let the players decide the outcome.

We've got questions: Will Thomas Vanek play?  Lindy Ruff has said that it's up to Thomas whether or not he'll play.  TV sat out game five, with Ruff supporting the decision.  Ruff said that it wouldn't make sense for the Austrian to be out there as a wounded duck among blood thirsty wolves.  The stakes are the same tonight, but Ruff has thrown more of the onus back to #26.  "It's his decision".  We all hope to see Vanek back for game 6.  Even at less than full strength, I'd rather have him than Drew Stafford, who would likely sit if TV is back in the lineup.

See everyone at 7pm
